Heather Causey is a certified registered nurse anesthetist (CRNA) in South Carolina. She first attended Coastal Carolina University, where she completed pre-nursing studies from 1999 to 2001. During that period, Heather Causey earned recognition on the President's List. Heather Causey went on to complete her undergraduate degree at the Medical University of South Carolina, having gained the knowledge and skills needed to become a nurse anesthetist.

After acquiring professional experience in critical care nursing, Heather Causey returned to the Medical University of South Carolina to earn a masters in nurse anesthesia. She completed the program in 2008, graduating with honors and becoming a member of the Alpha Eta National Honor Society. This advanced training prepared her to administer anesthesia, manage patient airways, monitor physiological functions during surgery, and respond to perioperative emergencies across diverse clinical settings.

Ms. Causey's education combined classroom instruction with extensive clinical preparation. Her studies equipped her to perform general anesthesia, regional anesthesia, spinal and epidural techniques, monitored anesthesia care, and procedural sedation. The training also emphasized patient assessment, anesthesia planning, perioperative monitoring, and postoperative recovery management. Currently, Ms. Causey serves as a CRNA at Columbus Regional Hospital, where she applies the knowledge and skills acquired in her more than 10 years of experience caring for patients.
